PaintingHe painted almost 900 painting. He has become world famous painter after his death. One of his world most famous painting is Starry Night. Heard that Don McLean's song "Starry, Starry Night are based from his painting. I only picked my favourite painting here but there is more of his famous painting beside starry such as Sunflowers and Potato Eaters. Potato Eaters is one of his great painting.

Drawing.According to Vincent Van Gogh gallery the art information resource, Van Gogh completed over 1000 drawings from 1877 to 1890. Drawing were mainly done in pencil, chalk, charcoal and pen. He used variety type of paper such as ingres paper, laid paper, wove paper. If we compared between drawing and painting, his painting is much more popular. Drawing is more quickly than painting, it is easier to capture light and images. My favourite Van Gogh drawing is Cottages with a woman working in the foreground.
